Book Launch News

On Thursday, January 21, 2010, over 600 alumni, parents, faculty and staff, colleagues, former players, family and friends joined together at Boston College High School Community in A Tribute to Coach Jim Cotter -- Coach Cotter's Book Launch. Speakers included Director of Alumni Tim Alberts, Principal Steve Hughes, Author Paul Kenney, Jim's daughter Grace Cotter Regan and the final most profound and compelling remarks from Coach Jim Cotter. Coach Cotter was diagnosed with ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's disease in 2004. Proceeds from the book will support Coach, the Cotter Scholarship at Boston College High School, Compassionate Care ALS and The Angel Fund.

Photos from the evening courtesy of John Gillooly, BCHIGH alumnus and founder of PEI Photo may be viewed and purchased at a discounted rate.
